Nagnath, or rather DSP’s Nagnath as he was known in the industry for the past 15+ years will no longer be with DSP. An awesome manager and a fantastic communicator, he had a very good sense of the markets, investor behavior and was one of the excellent CEOs in the industry.

DSP will surely miss him. Filling in his boots will not be easy.

However, the man coming in is Kalpen Parekh – ex Icici and then IDFC fame. Ok more of us know him as the person who was behind the ‘One Idiot’ movie – which I myself have spoken about at various forums. Is it a subtle change? From a CIO oriented CEO to a Sales and Marketing oriented CEO? Time will tell.

Congrats Nagnath on the nice stint, and all the best Kalpen for a long stint ahead.

Now that is one more CEO from the Icici stable!
