The perfect Investor – can practice make you perfect?
Many people ask me for a) books on investing b) degrees of investing and a few people ask me ‘will you coach/ mentor me to be a good investor?
I do believe that to be a great investor you need to be an Exec Assistant to say a good businessman like Mukesh Ambani or an investment banker like Vallabh Bhansali or Uday Kotak for 3 years or 5 years and then try to go off on your own (you would be so different that you cannot work for some organisation). You should also perhaps take a sabbatical and sit and read a few books and then set off investing.
