Never been a fan of big government…or of any kind of government. Surely one thing on which I agree with Ayn Rand…

Not been a big fan of UIDAI either…and when I saw that they were nicely sitting in Tech organisations and collecting data for claiming ‘it is growing in popularity’ , the more I saw it as a ???. Not sure what.

Personally I am dead against government / semi govt companies keeping my records, but most of the time we do not have any choice. My passport and pancard have to be with the government, right? I have known rivals getting information like ‘how much did…..pay as advance tax’…and get that information. Production figures, excise duty paid…are all available within hours of filing. Even critical info in open positions, etc. is available…

In this back ground UIDAI…has had a complaint…I guess it had to happen. Now UIDAI is a government body and behaves like one. To get any info, YOU HAVE TO FILE A RTI….yuck why UIDAI?
