Should you give money to your adult kids?
many people do not know how to tackle this question..I have some very strong views..
many people try to help their children..and actually harm the kids. When a boy takes a car from his father in law, the chances are she will treat him like a driver..need i say anything more?
personally it is fine to help for education – or the basics like term and medical insurance, but not for luxuries…just read on…

Did not quite understand this:
“When a boy takes a car from his father in law, the chances are she will treat him like a driver..”
Which “she” are you talking about?
GS

Once,I wanted to buy a bike, I asked for a margin money of Rs2000 (way back in 1980s) from my my dad, saying that I would repay him within two months, he wrote me a letter saying that “buy the bike after two months.”
I believe that unless some serious need arises, it is better to allow children to first earn and then enjoy.
